Divinus Forces Routed in Clash with Pirates

The 3rd Coastal Escort Fleet of the Divinus Security Force was spotted and vid'd by an anonymous U-News Ghosthack limping into secure harbor at approximately 1200h this morning, having barely survived a battle with pirates.
U-News has learned from sources inside the Royal Guard that this was the fourth attack this month.
Divinus officials remain silent on the attacks, Captain Koshor Graham of the Fast Hauler Morningstar, and Chairman of the Inter-coastal Community Shipping Coalition reports that small merchant vessels are considering suspending all deliveries until security is restored.
Pirates have long been a reality in the waters near Divinus, but this attack marks a serious increase in their activity near the city.

Mind Storm Labs would to thank everyone who submitted creatures in our first Community Contribution Contest! The Collaborative Workspace is alive with the creative ideas of the AO Community and we are very happy to say the task of choosing the winners will be difficult.
Winners will be chosen by Mind Storm Labs and officially announced at Gen Con Indy in August, and those winning selections will become a part of The Encountered - Volume One.
Thanks again to everyone who shared their creativity with the Community. Keep those creative juices flowing... the next community contribution contest could pop up at any time.

NWSEC Research Site Attacked

An NWSEC field research site, temporarily established 200 kilometers south-west of the Regina Construct was attacked last night. At least four members of the team have been confirmed killed. Sixteen remain missing. Two survivors were rescued by an NWSEC recovery team. The search for survivors continues.
This is the second such attack in recent weeks. The NWSEC cautions all staff and research affiliates to exercise extreme caution when operating in the area.
